Walking us through all the fine details . The ceremony with all our geeky touches couldn't of been any better! My husband and I decided we wanted to get married despite these difficult times. Derek was absolutely amazing from the start of this experience till the end of the ceremony. He was willing to work with us despite all the restrictions set out for Covid, he was also able to guide us in the right direction when we ran into roadblocks caused by Covid. He was easy to work with and was always quick to respond to emails. He asked us all the right questions to help plan our ceremony with our style in mind, his attention to detail helped personalize the ceremony to us. Derek also provided us with an online tool that allowed us to customize our ceremony script, making the process effortless and so much less stressful. His calming demeanor kept our butterflies at bay leading up to and during the ceremony. His charisma, energy and enthusiasm helped us forget how Covid had affected our dream day and helped us make it just as special in our backyard. Our families truly enjoying every moment of the ceremony, we received many compliments on how beautifully the ceremony had went. Since beginning to get our ceremony together, Derek was so supportive and helpful by communicating with us to make sure our ceremony was everything we wanted it to be. Derek officiated our May 25th wedding. He did absolutely fantastic. There were a few brief moments where things didn't go as planned and he was able to adjust on the spot. The ceremony was beautiful and raw and we wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
We also had no problem connecting with Derek. He was lighthearted, outgoing and funny, something that we think is an important aspect for an officiant.
